Soon after, in February 2021, we  brought home a bottle baby goat, Little Baby. Our lives changed in the most unexpected and delightful ways. From the very first moment, this little bundle of energy filled our home with joy and laughter. Bottle-fed and in need of extra care, Baby quickly bonded with us, treating us like family. It wasn’t just about feeding schedules or keeping a watchful eye—it was about the connection, the small milestones, and the simple moments that made us smile.

 As we navigated the learning curve of raising a bottle baby goat, we discovered how intelligent, affectionate, and playful they can be. Whether it was hopping around the yard, snuggling up for warmth, or bleating for attention, this tiny goat brought a sense of wonder and happiness to our daily routine.

 The experience taught us patience, responsibility, and the pure joy of caring for another life. Bringing home our bottle baby goat was not just a decision—it was the start of a heartwarming adventure we’ll never forget.

 We made a major move not long after to South Carolina for work. This is where we discovered the charm of call ducks and decided to expand our flock, embracing the beauty and diversity that these delightful creatures bring.

 Most recently, in the spring of 2023, we introduced sebastopol geese to our growing farm family. Each addition reflects our love for what we do and our commitment to creating a thriving environment for our animals. 

 After experiencing the profound loss of both my mother and mother-in-law during our time in South Carolina, we made the heartfelt decision to relocate back to Georgia to be closer to family. This move allowed us to reconnect with our roots and embrace the support and love of those who mean the most.

 Through these challenges, we’ve continued to grow both personally and professionally, finding strength in our journey and deep fulfillment in the work we do every day. We are grateful for the opportunities to pursue what we love while cherishing the importance of family and community.
