Farm Pickup: The Best Way to Get Your Birds

Farm pickup/ service area delivery is always our preferred way for you to get your birds. Not only does it give us the chance to meet you in person, but it also gives us peace of mind knowing exactly who our birds are going to. Plus, there are NO SHIPPING COSTS and you enjoy your birds much sooner, for much less! 

Birds are available for pickup/delivery as soon as they are added to the farm pickup page. 

Birds are considered available until they are picked up, delivered, or pending shipment. 

We do not take deposits and there will be NO HOLDS!

Shipping Policy on Live Birds

We offer a 100% live arrival guarantee. Live birds are shipped Priority Mail Express and in USPS approved boxes. We only ship birds on Mondays or Tuesdays.

NO shipping during weeks that include a holiday.

We do NOT ship juvenile birds during summer months. Shipping will begin once temps cool in fall. We will NOT ship birds until we know the weather conditions are safe for them. If you are expecting bad weather in your area the expected week of delivery, please contact us so we can adjust your expected shipping date.

Our shipping costs are covered in the price of the bird. This includes the USPS approved shipping box, priority mail express fee, as well as the 15.00 live bird handling fee implemented by USPS earlier this year.

 

Shipping Policy on Hatching Eggs

Our hatching eggs are individually double bubble wrapped, packaged in egg cartons, surrounded by packing peanuts. Each egg is candled to check for cracks before packaging. We only ship eggs we would hatch ourselves. 

We guarantee fertility but CANNOT guarantee hatch rates on mailed eggs. 

We test fertility in the spring and offer hatching eggs all year long, or as they are available. 

Call duck eggs are difficult to hatch!

If you are not familiar with the hatching process on call ducks, please research this before ordering hatching eggs! We will send hatching instructions as well as a customer service number you can reach out to with any questions or help regarding hatching your ducklings.

They will go as assorted dozens/half dozens. With a few extra but NO guarantee of any certain color. Those surprise hatches are always the best anyway!

We'll also offer PARTIAL refunds or replacement eggs to be shipped at no cost to you if your package arrives damaged with 2+ broken eggs in half dozens or 4+ broken in full dozens.

EXTRA EGGS WILL NOT BE REPLACED IF THEY ARRIVE BROKEN!!

You MUST open the package IN FRONT OF THE POSTAL WORKER! Then, take 1 picture with view of the broken eggs inside our packaging and the thank you sticker. Send ME the picture BEFORE you leave the post office to claim your refund or replacement eggs, which will be equal to the number of photo confirmed broken eggs.

Photo reviews of your babies from the barnyard or our egg shipments are welcome and will be greatly appreciated! Good or bad, we will put anyone who does a photo review here or on our Facebook page on a special list to be contacted first with any discounts/ special offers!

We take pride in ensuring your birds arrive safe and healthy from our farm. Our Live Bird Arrival Guarantee covers all live birds we ship. To make sure everything is handled smoothly, you must pick your birds up within 3 hours of their arrival at your local post office. It’s important to inspect the birds in front of the postal worker and provide us with photo documentation before leaving the premises. This process confirms the condition of your birds upon arrival and helps us serve you better. Your cooperation ensures the best experience for both you and your feathered friends!

Refund Policy

If a bird arrives dead, we will refund you the cost of the bird and half of the price of our shipping materials once we have received your photo taken at the post office.
